IP Network DesignRequirement confirmation and validation
- Repton Technical & Commercial consultants can determine and evaluate any network design required, from small LANs to continental WANs. This consultation process can be as in-depth as needed, depending on the levels of advice required.
Existing Infrastructure Audits
- Existing equipment, software, personnel, performance and staff can be monitored against the customer's requirement. This will then be used by the customer in their decision making, testing and purchasing processes.
Security Audits/ Intrusion Detection and Prevention
- Security processes and strategy are scrutinised. Infrastructure design including PKI, Firewalls, Application Security, Trusted Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems, together with incident handling strategy can be assessed or implemented and proven. This process can be introduced at any stage of the project cycle.
- In addition to having extensive experience of market leading tools Repton has it's own Automated Security Audit software.
Client Driven Designs
- Should a client have an existing design to be implemented, Repton will be happy to supply advice and information in areas the customer may require input. This tends to be especially useful in areas such as licensing, support, and emergent technologies such as Voice/Data integration.
Fully Documented Design production
- All design operations undertaken by Repton are fully documented and referenced. Topology mapping and device diagrams are included, and such documents aim to allow clients to use any supplier to fulfil them.
Staging, Testing and Installation - Hardware & Software Testing Facilities
- Our Labs at Repton can be used to test or evaluate most Network Technologies. This can be useful in staging equipment prior to shipment to minimise DOA's, and provides useful pre-installation information.
- WAN facilities available for client usage at Repton include X.21 serial links up to 2Mb, Frame Links up to 256K, ISDN PRI and BRI lines. Again this can be included during testing or evaluation.
Complete range of configuration and upgrade services onsite, and offsite
- Our Engineers can perform upgrades and configuration work at the customer's site(s) or at our facilities within Repton. Engineers with experience and qualifications in the required fields are always used.
Full project lifecycle management
- Repton can manage any size of project wholly or partly for any required duration. This can include project managers working full or part time, on or off site. Repton utilises a secure extranet solution to allow authorised parties involved in projects to view project status, and to communicate effectively with relevant Repton staff. The depth of information available can be adjusted according to a client's wishes. Repton, as your service provider, has teamed up with the Network Services Division of Trend Communications Limited to provide the widest possible range of services and expertise to support busy Network Management Teams.

Data Cabling/ Design and Implementation
Repton has more than twelve years experience in designing and implementing data cabling, This together with proven ability in commissioning network infrastructures, provides a flexible means of connection for a wide range of data and telecommunication services. These services cover most types of cabling including copper and optical fibre solutions. Repton has designed switched and shared solutions for a variety of network protocols including Gigabit and Fast Ethernet, Token Ring and ATM. Accreditations include Mohawk Accredited Partner and we have the R.W. Data Cabling Sciences Accreditation to specify and install Category 5E and Category 6 cabling solutions, which can be warranted for a period up to 15 years. In addition to the above we offer a wide variety of data cabinets, patch panels and racking, including customised options, so that we can cater for virtually any environment. We also have the capability to manufacture patch leads for all network and telecommunications applications whether as a "one-off" or large quantities. These can be coloured, labelled and packaged to suit specific requirements.
